Factor[e] Ventures Provides Follow-on Funding to S4S Technologies in a USD1.75 Million Pre-Series A Round
Factor[e] Ventures first invested in S4S Technologies during their seed round in December of 2018. The potential of the early-stage venture’s patented solar conduction dryer to create positive social and environmental impact around the world was profound.
Since that investment, Factor[e] worked closely with the founding members to refine their business model, improve their product, and reach additional customers. In the past two years, the S4S team has proven their ability to execute on traction milestones and remain dedicated to their mission of empowering rural women farmers and reducing food waste. We’re excited to come alongside Acumen Fund and C-SAW to invest follow-on funding to scale S4S’ business and impact.
“We are thrilled with the progress that the S4S team has made since we first invested,” commented Seth Silverman, Principal from Factor[e] Ventures. “S4S is transforming agricultural value chains in India and dramatically improving the lives of their rural women partners while meeting the demand for healthy food, which is growing exponentially. Doubling down on S4S was a no-brainer for us.”
